Many of these are still keeping people playing to this day and are continuing to draw in new players, so I'm hopeful that for COH 3 Relic can once again embrace this as the big opportunity that it is to foster innovation and community engagement and to give the series even greater longevity.

I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say that COH 2 lacking a lot of the moddability that COH 1 had has been somewhat of a disappointment. The go to your (CoH root folder: C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes) and then open your mod's.module file with notepad, and delete all the code. I'm a developer for the Europe in Ruins COH 1 mod and so Ill use some of my own experience to list a few of the things we'd really be looking for in order to be able to port our mod, though I'm also looking to hear from others and from other modders in particular and will be updating this post in an attempt to create as complete an overview as possible. Open Corsix's ModStudio and press create new mod, then just follow the instructions. I flagged this to John on discord and he suggested I start a thread on the forums here which might then hopefully help inform the COH development team. The devs have already indicated mod support is one of the top 10 topics they're looking into right now, though I noted discussions on that topic haven't really gone into much depth of what kind of mod support we as a community would like to see for COH3.
